Job Title: Test Engineer
Job Description:
- Overall responsibility for product test characterization of Lightwire’s CMOS photonic interconnect modules.
Responsibilities:
- Electro-optical characterization of module assemblies.
- Generate detailed characterization reports.
- Develop production test requirements
- Work with optical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to understand and implement cost effective tests on products.
- Develop detailed drawings / specifications as required.
- Experimental lab measurements.
- Some overseas travel required.
Background:
- BS, MS or PhD in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Experience with test electro-optic test equipment and testing required.
- Previous experience with both prototype and volume manufacturing required.
- Lab experience with optical measurements and optical test equipment strongly desired.
