Job Title:Microwave Engineer

Job Description:

Overall responsibility for microwave design of 10Gbps and higher signal integrity in optical communication modules.

Responsibilities:

Design signal integrity path including flex circuit, ceramic feedthru, and PCB signal traces at data rates at 10Gbps and above.
Work with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to implement cost effective, innovative, manufacturable product designs.
Develop detailed drawings / specifications as required.
Test method development for product characterization and manufacturing as needed
Experimental lab measurements confirming simulated results.

Background:

MS or PhD in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Proficient with both 2.5 D and 3D EM simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, Microwave Studio, Microwave Office.
Previous experience with both prototype and volume manufacturing a major plus.
Flex circuit and Ceramic Feed thru design experience required.
