Job Title: Electro-Optical Test Technician

Job Description:

Overall responsibility for testing, characterizing, and trouble shooting opto-electronic assemblies and transfer to manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

Perform experimental lab measurements.
Perform electro-optic testing and characterization.
Work with optical, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to implement cost effective, manufacturable product designs.

Background:

Associates Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
Highly motivated individual, able to work independently.
Experience with electro optical testing and characterization a major plus.
Experience with surface mount components a plus.
Previous experience with electrical troubleshooting desired.
Lab experience with optical measurements and optical test equipment strongly desired.
Programming experience, such as Visual Basic, is a plus.
