Job Title: Electrical Development Engineer
Job Description:
- Overall responsibility for electrical design of optical interconnects modules based upon Lightwire’s patented CMOS photonic technology.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical design and implementation of optical module assemblies.
- Project Leader of a multi-disciplined team focused on delivering product
- Work with optical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to implement cost effective, innovative, low cost manufacturable product designs.
- Develop detailed drawings / specifications as required.
- Test method development for product characterization and manufacturing as needed
- Experimental lab measurements.
- Some overseas travel required.
Background:
- BS, MS or PhD in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Experience with PCB schematic generation and layout.
- Project Leader experience required
- Previous experience with both prototype and volume manufacturing required.
- Lab experience with optical measurements and optical test equipment strongly desired.
- Microwave simulation experience strongly desired.
