Job Title: Director of Qualification and Reliability
Job Description:
- Overall responsibility for product qualification of modules based upon revolutionary photonics in silicon technology.
Responsibilities:
- Execute product qualification testing per Telcordia and generate corresponding reports.
- Present qualification and reliability data to customers.
- Resolve customer issues; respond to customers’ requests for corrective action.
- Implement and supervise RMA system.
- Provide process improvements based on validation testing and in-process defect data
- Work with mechanical, electrical, packaging, and manufacturing engineers to improve cost effective, manufacturable product designs.
- Solve manufacturing & quality problems.
- International travel periodically required
Background:
- BS, MS, or PhD in engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Experience implementing a Quality System per ISO standards.
- Experience with customer interaction.
